Aaron Huey

Founder of “Parenting Teens that Struggle” and the Host of the #1Parenting Podcast “Beyond Risk and Back” which is Mental Health News Radio Network’s highest-rated show internationally. He is also a Parent Coach for parents of kids at risk, a teen addiction interventionist, facilitates powerful parenting events, and is a very happy husband and father of 2 young adults.

Aaron is an internationally known lecturer on archetypal imagery, body language, and martial arts and the Founder and President of Fire Mountain Programs, and since 2004 has run kids camps, teen camps, and family programming. In 2009, he and his wife Christine opened a residential Mental Health and Dependency recovery treatment center for teens ages 12-17 in Colorado. Fire Mountain Residential Treatment Center was in 2019 named one of the Top 50 Healthcare Providers in the United States and in 2020 named one of the Top 100 Innovators in Healthcare.

Carla Shohet

Carla Shohet, BSc, Cache2, ITEC3, is a life coach for mothers, a psychologist and a certified trainer.

With almost two decades’ experience guiding thousands of women to reach their full potential, Carla studied under world-leading mentors such as Tony Robbins, T.Harv Eker, Robert Kiyosaki, Blair Singer, Alex Mandossian, Laura Markham, Selena Soo and Lisa Johnson. Carla is an award-winning entrepreneur and philanthropist, taking four businesses from concept to launch, and she volunteers in non-profit organisations that help mothers reclaim their lives from abuse, ill mental health and poverty.

Carla was a guest speaker on Stress Shapers and WELLaME, has appeared on BBC, was featured in Wandsworth Guardian, and was interviewed on Croydon Radio. She has a devout following in her community wild mother, where she supports mothers in rediscovering their full identity, restoring their self-esteem and empowering them to create the life of their dreams.

Carla lives in London, UK with her doting husband, their three children, and their two dogs.

Cath Hakanson

Cath Hakanson has been talking to clients about sex for the past 25 years as a nurse, midwife, sex therapist, researcher, blogger, author and educator. She’s spent the past 15 years trying to unravel why parents (herself included) struggle with sex education. Her solution was to create Sex Ed Rescue, an online resource that simplifies sex education and helps parents to empower their children with the right information about sex, so kids can talk to them about anything, no matter what.

Catherine Knibbs

Human Behaviour Technologist. Psychotherapist and Researcher

Cath is a Clinical Doctoral Researcher, Online Harms and Cybertrauma Consultant, Public Speaker, Author of 6 books (5 to date with Routledge), an Educator and TEDx Speaker. She is a Child/Adult Trauma Psychotherapist in private practice. She works with global and national organisations regarding child sexual abuse material and how to prevent cybertrauma burnout in those roles. She works with global organisations consulting on Mental health and Immersive Technologies (MHVR) and the harms that can occur in the new digital spaces (XRSI). She writes about and works with Cybertrauma, which is any trauma that occurs through an internet-ready device or medium. She also educates therapists and practitioners via her company name Privacy4 about Data protection/privacy/cybersecurity issues in relation to their practice. She disrupts and advocates for children’s rights, privacy, and online digital explorations. Catherine is also the mental health advisor for Gamers Beat Cancer charity.

She uses gaming in therapeutic situations, coaching, trauma psychotherapy and for getting the best from yourself. She has been using biofeedback/tech and gaming to elicit Post Traumatic Growth, healing and flow for over a decade.

Her books include Cybertrauma: the Darker side of the Internet; Children, Technology and Healthy Development, Children and Sexual-Based Online Harms, Cybertrauma and Online Harms, and Data Protection and Cybersecurity for Practitioners and the newest one forms part of the BPS Ask the expert series.

Erin Tarr

Erin Tarr is a Confidence Coach for teen and tween girls and creator of the fierce & flourish empowerment program. As a keynote speaker, parenting consultant, and host of the fierce & flourish podcast, she is a thought leader in the youth confidence space.

Erin’s twenty year career in education and personal development serving tweens, teens, and moms led her to be named among Central Illinois Business Magazine’s 40 Under 40, and to be invited to speak on the “That’s What She Said” stage. She has led countless Confidence Building workshops with girl scout troops, athletic teams, and youth groups, as well as private corporations.

Erin’s leadership programs have impacted more than a thousand girls and young women of all backgrounds across the country by helping them overcome self-doubt and everyday anxiety, while discovering their most authentic self. As a coach she empowers tween girls, helping them overcome their negative self talk and discover the unique ways they can change the world through her FIERCEST Framework

Jenny Eastwood

Jenny’s background is in psychology with a specialisation in child development. After a stint living abroad in Hong Kong and Japan and working in finance, she returned to the field of psychology and trained as a parent facilitator through the accredited Skills Course and Training Programme at The Parent Practice. She has been working as a parent facilitator for the last 10 years helping hundreds of families learn how to get the best out of family life. She has continued her professional development through training with a variety of renowned parenting experts, whilst bringing up her four children, who are between the ages of 11 and 16. She set up The Parent Team with three colleagues in early 2021 and they continue to help parents learn positive parenting skills through courses, workshops, private consultations and school talks, so parents can help their family thrive.

Michele McDowell

Dr. Michele McDowell, Is an Educational and Child Psychologist. She is an independent psychologist based in London, England. Her specialties include working with parents of children experiencing problematic gaming and an addictive screen time behaviour, although she also addresses all things related to mental health and child development.

Michele also offers Emotional Freedom Technique coaching to children, parents schools and other organisations. Michele has a Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/askdrmichele and has appeared in the media and television. Michele’s first book, Tech Savy Families is soon to be released.

Michele’s passion is to support and enable individuals to manage their own mental health.

Rev. Brien Egan

Rev. Brien Egan CRM, CKRM, CHT is an author, certified hypnotherapist, a reiki master, karuna reiki master, pranic energy worker, crystal bowl sound healer, EFT practitioner, quantum touch practitioner, sedona method practitioner, chakra cleansing teacher, qi gong teacher, an ordained minister from the Essene New Life Church and has his B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Special Education. He has been practicing and teaching spirituality for over 19 years. He has done a lot of work with children, families and individuals by leading workshops, classes and through individual or group sessions. He also designed and ran a kids spiritual summer camp for 11 years which taught children many quantum physics and spiritual concepts, meditation and mindfulness practices.
