Resilience! The Strength and Speed of Our Response to Adversity Workshop with John Harris

The first half of this online workshop explores how to develop a resilient mindset, the second half offers an overview of theories of autonomic regulation (PVT; CFT) and how they relate to resilience.

Learning Objective Participants Can Expect From This Event

  • To identify the habits of resilient people, apply them to yourself and empower clients to adopt them.
  • To become familiar with the practices resilient people engage in to facilitate bouncing back after stressful events.
  • To understand how theories of emotional regulation can be utilised to enhance resilience.

Who is This Workshop Appropriate For?

  • This workshop is aimed at both change agents and the people they support. Everybody benefits from greater resilience!

How May This Workshop Impact Your Practice?

  • Participants can expect to come away from the workshop with a sound knowledge of what resilience is and how to strengthen it.

ZOOM 

This workshop will be hosted on the Zoom meeting platform where we will use our cameras and microphones to interact with each other as a group.

John Harris

John Harris is a Family Constellations practitioner with 30 years of psychotherapeutic experience. He has worked with a broad range of client groups including inmates, families, individuals and couples using his skills in systemic approaches and client centred counselling.
