Trauma is inevitable in our lives. This experiential workshop will look at the ways in which we manage our own and clients’ trauma. It will examine the resources we build and practice in our development, that allow us to meet trauma courageously. As we grow in our abilities to stand tall in the face of adversity, we come to recognise that its not about what happens to us, but more importantly how we manage our state when trauma visits us.

In learning to engage with trauma, there is often a hidden blessing, where life reveals to us the possibility of transformation of our human frailties.

Malcolm’s main learning in this area came when his daughter Melissa took her own life in 2014, and he was able to build and marshal already existing resources.
