Last updated 3 May 2024

The experience of childhood sexual abuse can remain hidden from a client’s awareness for many years, showing up instead as a variety of mental, physical, emotional and spiritual symptoms they seek relief from.

Only when someone feels safe, supported and ready enough will they be able to bring to light and resolve the trauma they carry from this experience to find peace.

Conscious Connected Breathwork is one way of helping a client process the trauma from childhood sexual abuse in a way that is client led, empowering and liberating.

By working with the breath and using other tools such as somatic awareness, imagery, dialogue and inner child work, the body can be gradually be allowed to tell its story, in its own way, at its own pace, to find resolution.
