This practice emerged from research into spirituality in supervision where I felt quite mad! I needed to learn to see my own restrictions in interpreting and seeing what was in front of me, then I could step into authorship and stating what I was saying more clearly. Then I saw that everybody has coloured lenses, and so this playful practice began.

I am offering a fun discovery of seeing our own lenses using the metaphor of Alice, being wrong sized and there being plenty of nonsense.

Bring a situation where you have some difficult feelings or where you would like to explore your feelings.

We will bring this back to what you are seeing in the situation.

This builds on Theory U, the fourth eye of the seven eyed model, and will be done in a playful fashion practiced with love.

Everybody can benefit, not everybody will want to; come if you are willing to explore your own nonsense!

Learning Objective Participants Can Expect From This Event

  • The greater clarity the practitioner has, the clearer they see. This applies to coach, therapist and supervisor.
  • Use of the two shifts of theory U together and how they intertwine. 1. is the seeing the situation, for supervision, for the team, with your client etc and 2. the deepening of clarity of the interior position of the actor/practitioner in the situation.
  • Experience of an example of playful metaphor, to explore difficulties and beliefs.

Who is This Workshop Appropriate For?

  • Any coach, therapist or supervisor who is curious about what is happening in a particular situation, or for them as practitioners

How May This Workshop Impact Your Practice?

  • Exploring self in practice
