I am a Meyler Campbell trained Business coach and registered coaching psychologist with the British Psychology Society. I’m a HCPC registered health and counselling psychologist, and also a senior practitioner member of the British Psychological Society’s register of psychologists specialising in psychotherapy.

Formerly, I studied social psychology at the London School of Economics before moving to London’s Institute of Psychiatry where I was awarded my PhD for pioneering work in the psychology of traumatic stress. After this, I trained as a therapist going on to work at the University of Warwick as a trainer in clinical psychology.

Presently, I’m a professor at the University of Nottingham in the School of Education where I am part of the human flourishing research group and convener of the counselling and psychotherapy teaching group.
