Marit Lyngra (MSc, CTA, PTSTA) started her training at Metanoia Institute in London in 2001 completing her CTA in 2010. In addition to CTA, she has a Certificate in Integrative Couples Counselling (Metanoia) and Diploma in Supervision from The Society of Analytical Psychology.
Marit worked in private practice for several years, but since 2011, she has been working primarily with perpetrators of violence. First at the Fens Unit at HMP Whitemoor then from 2015 at Alternative to Violence (ATV) in Norway (where she is from). ATV is an organisation providing psychotherapy to perpetrators of domestic violence and their families.
