Karen F. Burke (MSc Gestalt Psychotherapy) is registered and accredited by the UKCP and a member of the BACP. In private practice, she works in Lancashire and at The Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy, where she sees people of all ages, including children, in individual therapy, couples or group settings. Karen’s practice includes training and supervision.

Karen also works at a charity, working with anyone touched by adoption, two days a week. Karen has previously worked in agencies for looked after children, an attachment centre, a hospice and private organisations.

Karen’s particular areas of interest are attachment theory, bereavement/loss, and trauma.
