Kate Blakemore is a mum of three, who is a counsellor with specialism in infant loss and birth trauma. Kate has had her private counselling practice since 2012 and has a diploma in Specialist Fertility Counselling.
Kate is also the founder and Chief Executive of the charity Motherwell Cheshire, a Women and Girls Charity which was founded in 2015.
Kate is passionate about supporting women and girls and in particular mums mental health. Kate felt there were many books out there for new mums but nothing really available for the “mothering journey” and so the start of the book “mums the word – the mothering journey” began.
