Dyslexia & Dyspraxia are often assumed to be childhood conditions and as such is often under-identified in adults. They can also have a significant effect on adult wellbeing and mental health.
This workshop will explore dyslexia and dyspraxia and how they may present in adults, the challenges dyslexic or dyspraxic adults may face in their everyday lives, and what this means for working with them in your practice.

Liz Smith is a neurodivergent, late diagnosed therapist, supervisor and trainer living and working in West Yorkshire. She had adult diagnoses of ADHD and autism.
Liz runs Free2BMe Neurodiversity, offering lived experience led neurodiversity training, supervision and support to practitioners and organisations wanting to support neurodivergent clients and improve neuro-inclusivity in practice and services.
Liz has also worked as a lecturer on a core counselling training programme in a university and in clinical assurance.
Natalie Kennedy is a highly experienced therapist, art therapist, trainer and supervisor who had an adult diagnosis of dyslexia and is awaiting AuDHD assessment. Natalie works with children, families and adults in London.
