The Drama triangle is a way of graphically displaying the dance that occurs whenever we make someone else responsible for how we feel. According to Karpman, any time we don’t take responsibility for our feelings, we are acting as a part of the Drama Triangle. The Drama Triangle can be a simple yet powerful mechanism for understanding the relationships.
We are offering a series of 3 Workshops each one looking at one of the areas of the Drama Triangle. We invite you to sign up for all 3 workshops as we offer a different way for working with each area of the triangle.
In times of stress and uncertainty, clients often find themselves trapped in familiar roles: rescuer, victim, or persecutor. Yet, maintaining these roles requires continuous effort and energy. While clients may have a default position, they often lack the know-how to access their inner resources and transition into a more resourceful role.
By employing this creative method, you can guide your clients in understanding their current patterns and empower them to choose a more beneficial, well-resourced role.
Part 1 is designed to shed light on the Rescuer role. We’ll start with a creative exercise aimed at helping participants understand the position they adopt. Following this, we’ll engage in visualization exercises to empower individuals to reframe their perspective.
