Pre-requisites: Participants require to attend Introduction to Imago Relationship Therapy part 1&2 to be able to join this part.

Imago Relationship Therapy is a research-supported, systematic theory of relationship therapy developed by Harville Hendrix, Ph.D., author of Getting the Love you Want: a Guide for Couples, and Helen LaKelly Hunt, Ph.D. Imago theory powerfully synthesizes major aspects of depth psychology, object relations, systems theory and humanistic-existential theory into a comprehensive approach to working with relationships.

Imago Relationship Theory helps us to understand why we pick the partners we do and why intimate relationships can be so challenging for so many of us. Imago Relationship Therapy gives clients the skills and understanding they need to turn their conflicts into opportunities for the repair of current and past relationship hurts.

The series of Introduction to Imago parts 1-4 are a great ‘taster’ of the approach for new people, and a useful refresher for experienced Imago therapists. Please note that to become an Imago Certified therapist you need to attend the full training course (12 days) and further requirements. For full details have a look here: https://www.kalanitbenari.com/training-for-therapists

  • Demonstration of the full Imago dialogue.
  • Overview of the Imago feedback process.
  • Practice as a therapist and as a participant.

and is for psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, marriage and family therapists and counsellors seeking expertise in couples’ therapy.
