Workshop Details

If you are working with clients who have experienced childhood neglect, trauma or other emotional pain, their inner child might feel small, vulnerable, and unprotected. Where our clients may have buried the pain caused by lack of love, protection and emotional support as a child, having these needs attended to can be vital.

By listening to and acknowledging the inner child, the process of healing can begin. It is never too late to repair these deficits in adulthood. Helping our clients how to listen, acknowledge, validate and nurture this part can have a profound effect.

When we work with the inner child, we need to use language and methods to which the child can relate. In this workshop we will explore ideas and techniques such as visualisation, early scene work and bodywork to connect with the inner child.

Come ready to get in touch with your own inner creative and playful self.
