Through my practice as a trauma therapist I’ve come to realise one vital ingredient in a persons life is often missing – the capacity to relax deeply. One of the greatest gifts we can give, is to help our clients access their bodies natural capacity to relax, restore and let go.
Workshop Details
In this workshop you’ll be introduced to Scott Lyons, Stress Cycle and understand how restoration is a key component in order for us to respond to life stresses with resilience. You’ll learn how to saviour movements of quiet, stillness and calm created through breath and movement practices that you’ll easily be able to continue to practice by yourself.
Often we trying to bypass deep relaxation & restoration and jump to trying to let go of tension, patterns & situations. BUT this very rarely works. The magic is, by training our nervous system to relax and restore, letting go starts to happen all by itself; often because negative situations and experiences reside within the body as tension patterns…so by releasing these tension patterns release what we’re holding onto!
Practicing these exercises will help your nervous system to rewire where you can continue to enjoy moments of deep relaxation. To support this practice for you Kate will be giving away 5 -10 min. audios to all participants to help you enter periods of restoration by choice.
