Timelines are often forgotten therapeutic tools. This two hour workshop aims to refresh this tool and blend creativity with theory. This trauma-informed workshop weaves in psychodynamic theory from Freud to object relationships to help you to work with timelines and further understand your client’s process.

Timelines are a fantastic way of drawing out themes and identifying key moment when a clients life changed and their sense of self shifted. They can help us to understand our clients more deeply and in doing so provide a powerful visual for clients. You’ll learn how to safely work with timelines.

You’ll be invited to create your own timeline so have colours and paper to hand and there will some time during the workshop to explore these ideas with your peers.

PART 2 will go on to look at attachment and trauma from a timeline perspective.
