Workshop Details

Perfect for this time of year when there is often an air of stress in the air, this workshop will explore the role of sleep for wellbeing and teach you a range of embodiment and breathwork practices that you can use yourself and share with your clients.

As a therapist I find that sleep issues come hand in hand with depression and anxiety. Sleep is where we process unconscious material and the stresses of the day. Without it, they pile up affecting functioning and overall wellbeing.

The first half of the workshop will be exploring the theory behind sleep and how stress & depression can impact our sleep and the second half will lead you through a lovely breathwork & movement practice to stimulate vagal tone to send you off into a peaceful nights sleep.

Have two heavy(ish) books to hand and space on your floor to lie down. Have a blanket to hand.
