Julia Franks, psychotherapist and conscious dance leader, invites colleagues to the launch of her book, Dance for Life.

In the book Julia describes how she encountered dance and placed it at the centre of life; she recounts how dance enabled human evolution and civilization, and how we ‘lost’ dance in the Western world.

The book describes how in the last 50 years there has been a re-discovery of dance worldwide, and how dance is a force for good in our fractured and vulnerable world.

Finally the book introduces us to what conscious dance is and its many varieties.
