About this event

Who is Steering Your Car? Effective Ways to Take Back Control Of Your Life Workshop with Lisa Francesca Lewak

Who is steering your car; effective ways on how to take back control of your life, is an experiential and interactive workshop. We will be exploring the reasons why you sometimes feel your life is out of control or that you feel you do not have the abilities to take control, and where and how you lose control. We will look at; who or what is in control of your life, and what exactly is personal power. We will then consider various steps on how to cultivate your personal power and develop your personal circle.

If you do not take the steering wheel of your life into your own hands then someone else will sit in the driver’s seat of your car. This means that someone else is controlling your path, your choices and your destiny. Sometimes you are not aware of how much of your life is in the hands of others, until a situation presents itself and you get a jolt; you come to your senses. But then what actions to take and how to implement them?

Many of us are controlled by our family, partners and friends. From these relationships we become limited by our beliefs and the stories we tell ourselves. So, we try to please, to conform, to belong because we afraid of the consequences if we do not. We often comply by taking ourselves out of the picture, not voicing our thoughts nor taking actions to make ourselves happy. We worry what others might think of us or say about us.

Living a thriving, fulfilled and happy life implies you need to step up and take hold of the steering wheel and start to drive your car – this is where you can make all the choices and decisions for your life. That entails understanding, cultivating and stepping into your personal power both internally and externally. In this workshop we look at the steps in this process and effective ways to take back control of your life.
