About this event

The Publishing Guide: Self-Publishing Book Production Workshop Series with Camilla Fellas Arnold & Emily Tuck

This workshop is tailored for therapists, counsellors, coaches, and other helping professionals who have completed their manuscript with a view to self-publish and are ready to navigate the book production process. Learn how to transform your finished draft into a polished, professional product ready for the marketplace.

In this workshop we’ll cover the various aspects of the book production process that follow after you have finalised your manuscript (see our other workshops for writing and self-editing skills). We’ll look at how to source and manage skilled freelancers and individual contractors to support your book production as well as how to DIY.

We’ll cover editing and proofreading, book interior formatting and cover design for both ebook and print. We’ll look at how to position your book to your target market with a great cover, elements of an effective cover design and print specifications to help you create a professional looking book ready for self-publishing.

This practical session will give you the knowledge and confidence to navigate the production phase of your self-publishing journey, setting your book up for success in a competitive market.
