About this event

The Role and Responsibility of the Professional Executor Should Your Practice Need to Be Closed Unexpectedly Workshop with Joanna Morrin

We spend many years building up our private practice, but have you considered what would happen if unexpectedly you could no longer practice? Do you know what your professional body requirements are for sudden closure of a practice? Do you have provisions in place? Have you considered the GDPR requirements to ensure your client data is held securely and legally? Joanna Morrin, founder of Professional Clinical wills, is delighted to collaborate with Online Events to explore the role of the professional executor. Whether you already have a clinical will and executor in place and want to make sure you meet your professional requirements, or are looking for a solution to who will act as your executor, this session intends to be a discussion and information sharing event about a part of our practices that is often overlooked or avoided.

Joanna Morrin

Joanna Morrin MSc CTA, founder of Professional Clinical Wills, is a UKCP registered Psychotherapist. Joanna trained at the Metanoia Institute, London, and has worked in private practice for over 10 years. Before training as a psychotherapist Joanna worked at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and as a HR Manager in private industry.

Having witnessed a clinical will being executed poorly she felt clients, and the legacy of the practitioners, were being let down by not having adequate provisions in place. She felt that as a profession this part of our practices could be done so much better. She pulled together her therapy, business and administration skills to set up Professional Clinical Wills. Professional Clinical Wills works with you to set up your clinical will specific to your private practice. We electronically store your will, and should your will need to be initiated, we act as your professional executor informing clients, supervisees and closing your practice to your specific requirements.
