Today more than ever we are struggling to protect and strengthen our human bridges; our relation to ourselves, our relation to others, and our relation to our past, present and future In times of uncertainty, insecurity, conflict of values and moral injuries, front line workers are facing humongous challenges to preserve their own integrity, psychosocial wellbeing and hope for a better future. Self-care becomes less of a priority for humanitarians who are serving war torn communities. The session will focus on tangible tips and recommendations, that individuals working in complex emergencies, can use to protect their human bridges.

- Participants will develop self awareness around the impact of threat and stress on different domains in their lives. In addition, they would be invited to develop their tailored slef-care plans.
RECORDING
This workshop will be recorded and you can use the ticket function to pre-purchase the recording before the event. This will be useful for colleagues who are not able to attend the event live and also for those who attend the event live and want to watch it again.
ZOOM
This workshop will be hosted on the Zoom meeting platform where we will use our cameras and microphones to interact with each other as a group.

Marie Adele Salem Le Port
Marie-Adele is a specialist in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS). Since 2006, she has dedicated her career to implementing a resource-based approach in MHPSS, collaborating closely with businesses, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and United Nations (UN) entities.
Her work has spanned various regions, including Asia, Central America, the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Mary possesses strong expertise in program development, crafting theories of change (TOC), and developing MHPSS policies, strategies, and manuals. She also has experience in creating staff care support in diverse cultural settings and enhancing team capacity through coaching and supervision.
