I Can’t Stop Eating: Working with Clients Who Binge Eat Workshop with Sarah Dosanjh

Join us for an engaging 2-hour workshop about working with clients who present with binge eating behaviours. Led by Sarah Dosanjh, a psychotherapist with personal experience of overcoming binge eating disorder, this workshop blends professional expertise with real-life insights.

Sarah will guide you through the complexities working with bingeing behaviours, offering practical tools, therapeutic strategies, and a deeper understanding of the emotional, psychological and physical factors involved. This is a unique opportunity to learn from someone who not only understands binge eating from a clinical perspective but has lived through it herself.

  • Understand the difference between bingeing and overeating, as well as identifying an eating disorder vs disordered eating.
  • Practical guidance for helping clients struggling with compulsive/binge eating.
  • Identify what is causing and perpetuating the binge eating behaviour

RECORDING 

This workshop will be recorded and you can use the ticket function to pre-purchase the recording before the event. This will be useful for colleagues who are not able to attend the event live and also for those who attend the event live and want to watch it again.

ZOOM 

This workshop will be hosted on the Zoom meeting platform where we will use our cameras and microphones to interact with each other as a group.

The self-select fee is a radical inclusion policy to open learning for all colleagues. The guide price for this event is £20.00, however, we appreciate that income varies greatly in different locations and circumstances. Sarah Dosanjh

Sarah Dosanjh is a psychotherapist and author of the book I Can’t Stop Eating. After her own recovery from binge eating disorder she has gone on to specialise in helping others do the same. She offers individual and group therapy as well as courses and social media content. She has appeared on various media outlets such as BBC breakfast, Sky’s Roundtable and BBC Radio One, as well as amassing over 2 million views on YouTube.
