About this event
Journaling is one of our most powerful means of creating a deeper connection with our true Selves. It is something that we can all access whenever we need it – in times of overwhelm, change, challenge, creativity or joy.
Flow journaling is a specific practice that helps clients open up their access to self-compassion, and continue to build their connection with this vital component of healthy self-expression.
Writing in this way helps clients reveal and explore more of what they deeply think or feel about something. It’s an opportunity for free-flow expression, helping them listen to their own inner wisdom, without the noise of everyday thoughts getting in the way.
In this workshop, Henny Flynn offers an introduction to Flow Journaling to support your clients with experimenting with this practice. The session includes a relaxation practice, with some hands-on journaling to a shared compassion-based prompt.
Using a stance of compassion, Flow Journaling provide a space to reflect without attachment to a particular outcome, helping us to be more attentive and present. In this way, Journaling becomes a way to explore creative solutions for the challenges and opportunities that arise in our daily lives – and provides a wonderful tool for building self-compassion elsewhere in our lives.
