About this event

From Bibliotherapy to Therapeutic Fiction: Crafting New Books with Healing Intent Workshop with Camilla Fellas Arnold and Emily Tuck

Have you experienced the transformative power of stories in your practice? Have you considered channeling your clinical and professional insights into writing that could reach and heal a broader audience?

This workshop seeks to bridge the gap between therapeutic practice and creative writing, empowering professionals to craft powerful narratives that serve both literary and healing purposes. Drawing on the rich tradition of bibliotherapy while looking toward the future of therapeutic literature, participants will explore the unique position they hold as both healers and potential authors.

We’ll explore:

  • Transforming clinical wisdom into compelling narratives
  • Crafting characters and storylines that facilitate healing and growth
  • Navigating the ethical considerations of writing therapeutic literature
  • Developing stories that can be purposefully integrated into bibliotherapy practice

Whether you’re drawn to writing fiction that subtly weaves in therapeutic elements or creating practical non-fiction that directly addresses healing journeys, this workshop will help you bring your vision to life. Join us in exploring this emerging frontier where therapeutic practice meets creative writing, and discover how your professional insights could become tomorrow’s healing narratives.

This workshop is led by Camilla Fellas Arnold, an executive coach, international bestselling author, poet and independent publisher with over a decade of experience in the creative, writing and book publishing industries and Emily Tuck, an international bestselling author, executive coach, holistic practitioner and kinesiologist with over twenty years of experience.
