About this event
The year is rushing by, but there’s still time to flourish. This session will be your autumnal harvest, a chance to review your progress and strategize how to finish strong. Self-care is key! Together we’ll learn how to stay inspired and avoid burnout during the busy holiday season. This session also introduces the concept of creative journaling with a difference. Bring some non-confidential papers, like your calendar, and transform them into art that sparks ideas and keeps you focused. I’ll guide you through intuitive doodling and simple drawing (no skills required), engaging your subconscious to uncover hidden dreams and desires.
Don’t worry if you missed the other sessions, all the sessions work independently of each other.
The session is roughly split into 3 sections:
- Presentation with prompts to inspire you
- Creative space on your own
- Process space with a small group

Nicola Hughes
I am a Creative Counsellor, Outdoor Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer. I run my own Private Practice in The Caravan Clinic in Leeds and Outdoors in the surrounding area.
As a neurodivergent person and parent I have learnt how important it is to have space. We can easily live such packed out lives and this soon leads to burn out. I love facilitating safe creative spaces for fellow professionals as I know how much it’s needed.
In my safe space you can find me at my art station working on my next heart process, walking my toy poodle Mo or in a café having coffee with a friend.
