Have you felt you lacked confidence when working with LGBTQ+ clients?
Do you feel overwhelmed by terminology? Scared of ‘getting it wrong’?
Hannah (she /her) will talk you through the basics of what she has learnt through her work with the LGBTQ+ community.
This workshop will go through some helpful Do’s and Don’ts including:
understanding terminology
understanding identities
what to do when you get it wrong!
Participants will have a chance to ask questions and work together in small groups to discuss some of what they have learnt. This will be a fun, informative and supportive space.
(This course is intended to give an introductory overview of the basics of this topic, rather than a comprehensive training.)

This workshop will be hosted on the Zoom meeting platform where we will use our cameras and microphones to interact with each other as a group.

Hannah Creedon
Hannah Creedon (she/her) is a Queer Irish Integrative Psychotherapist, Trainer and Counselling Skills Tutor. She has a Masters in Equality Studies and a Level 3 Award in Teaching and Education. She has been working and advocating for the LGBTQ+ community for over 5 years and she is passionate about equality and social justice. Since 2021 she has held workshops and trainings on LGBTQ inclusion all over the UK and online to global audiences on issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community.
