Date and time

July 11, 2025 @ 10:00 - 12:00

About this event

A Reflective Space: How to Work with Your Clients Protector Parts – when Resistance, Skepticism, Shame, Self-Loathing is Present!

As the academic year draws to an end Kate is opening up the space to support you in working with your clients protector parts.

With her wealth of knowledge and experience of parts work theories, Kate will open the space by exploring with the group what protector parts are and how they develop. This will be carried out with the use of the whiteboard drawing upon the knowledge and experience of the group. Importantly you’ll explore the many way protector parts show up in therapy. She’ll share skills and ideas for working with these parts.

You’ll be able to unmute and ask questions, share examples from your practice and generally come together to enrich each others learning.

There will be time for break out rooms to further explore with your colleagues as well as time for personal explorations.
