Generalized Anxiety Disorder

This workshop series will cover the conceptualization, origins, and interventions for Generalized Anxiety Disorder. The origins will be largely from a evolutionary and neurophysiological perspectives. The conceptualization of the disorder will include insights from 2nd and 3rd Wave Behavioral Models, such as CBT, REBT, DBT, and ACT. Interventions will be based on these models as well as more meaning-oriented models. In addition, all this information will be used to develop treatment plans. Finally, a clinical case will be analyzed such that a full conceptualization is formed along with a treatment plan to address the symptoms of the client.
