Jill Nicholson

Jill Nicholson is a BACP-accredited counsellor, clinical supervisor, trainer, and co-founder of the Rapid Imprint Resolution Method — a trauma-informed approach that integrates Transactional Analysis and EFT. She holds a Bachelor of Education, an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and is also an Accredited Coach.

Jill began her counselling training in 1998 and went on to spend 18 years working in the charitable sector — initially supporting mothers affected by postnatal depression, and later managing Counselling & Recovery services in Edinburgh for individuals recovering from substance use and for their children.

Her therapeutic approach is grounded in the understanding that lasting adult healing often begins with addressing unmet childhood needs. She is particularly dedicated to helping clients reconnect with and heal the parts of themselves shaped by early emotional experiences and trauma — a focus that lies at the heart of her practice.

Jill now runs a private practice, offering therapy and supervision online via Zoom.
