As a coach or therapist, in order to connect authentically with our client, the ongoing development of our own self-awareness is key.
In this online workshop you will gain a deeper understanding of the Three Keys to Authentic Presence:
Key 1: Self-Awareness
We all think differently. We don’t see the world as it is; we see the world through the lens of our own experiences, values, beliefs and memories. Understanding this, and taking responsibility for our own thoughts, is the gateway to self-awareness.
Key 2: Self-Acceptance
In order to truly understand and connect with others with compassion, kindness and empathy, we need to first start with ourselves… The key to self-acceptance is self-awareness. We need to learn about, and own, our shadow self.
Key 3: Connection
We spend far too much time in our modern world doing instead of being. Learn to listen to yourself – to your own feelings and needs, and share them with others – this is the key to connection.
We will explore these concepts through a variety of psychological models and philosophies…
