Let’s play in the sand … a doorway to our inner selves.
My initial experience of sand tray work was on a one day workshop. I found it so powerful I used it in my own personal therapy and then as I became a therapist it has always been a staple part of my toolbox when working with clients.
I only work with adults so it’s not just for children… quite the contrary in fact, I find it invites clients into their Child Ego State and helps to provide insights into their internal world, often both for them and for me.
In this 2 hour workshop we’ll talk about what sand tray is and where its origins came from. We’ll discuss briefly how it works in relation to TA theory and consider why it can be such a powerful tool.
A question I often get asked is “…yeah…but how do I introduce this, I feel so awkward?” so we’ll consider that amongst some other tips on using sand tray.
And we’ll finish by having a little play in the sand ourselves.
If this is a new or slightly scary concept for you, come along with an open mind and let’s play!

Presenter
Fleur set up her own private practice back in 2013, working on a part time basis. Within two months, she had a full client workload and this has continued. Fleur previously also worked in a corporate environment, which has given her some insight into running a business as well as being able to do something you love and have a passion for. She’s keen to share as snapshot her own thoughts, experiences and challenges in starting up and growing a successful private practice.
