Join us for an enlightening conversation between Mike Borash and Kalanit Ben-Ari, designed specifically for mental health professionals. Addiction touches many of our lives, both personally and professionally, shaping our attitudes toward issues such as alcohol, pornography, and drug dependency. However, these preconceptions may hinder our ability to effectively support individuals grappling with addictive behaviours.

In this session, renowned international trainer and addiction treatment specialist, Mike Borash, will unveil groundbreaking research that offers a clearer understanding of addiction, its implications, and treatment strategies. Explore the crucial role of trauma and anxiety in the development of addictive behaviours, as well as the intricate workings of brain chemistry in substance abuse and behavioural addiction. Discover how addiction may manifest in your practice, even if you’re not consciously aware of it.
