As therapists, we all want the very best for our clients, and want to be the best therapist we possibly can be. There is now substantial amount of research evidence which indicates what are the most powerful techniques and aspects of the therapeutic relationship. Psychotherapy research has also identified many tweaks to the way therapists practice that can have a significant beneficial impact and offers crucial insights into therapist characteristics and behaviours which best facilitate change.
In this workshop, Mark will present an accessible and practice friendly guide to a number of methods that therapists of all theoretical orientations can use to adjust their practice to enhance client outcomes and increase the efficiency of their work.
