In this workshop, we will focus on exploring boundaries, hierarchies and power struggles in the daily life of a family, the social context of growing up in a group and how this may support Games and Intimacy.
Workshop Details
We will also explore the following questions of the family of origin:
Who is holding the power and where is the boundary?
Who is the black sheep in your family?
Who holds responsibility?
What behaviour was acknowledged, praised or punished and why?
What were the rules and who was responsible on imposing them?
Throughout the workshop we will refer to Berne, conditioning in non-verbal transactions and prohibitions (Gouldings, John McNeel) as well as theories of transgenerational family therapy by Murray Bowens, Boshomey Nagy hidden loyalties and Salvador structural family therapy.
