Eating disorders of all types are complex in themselves and perhaps are only uncovered once a patient has sought therapeutic support for other issues. This workshop is designed to give counsellors and health professionals a toolkit to help support those experiencing an eating disorder. It encompasses a tailored approach to meeting specific needs especially if the client is Neurodivergent and highlights how working in a person centred way is key to being effective and to achieve success.
This workshop is for all health professionals and individuals who wish to deepen their understanding of eating disorders and the impact they may have on their Neurodivergent clients, allowing you to work ethically and competently with these increasingly common issues.
