In this workshop Karin and Sally will be talking about how the way you respond to adversity and bounce back is determined by your level of resilience. This workshop is based on the ten worksheets in Sally’s book, which shows you how to cultivate resilience, even if you didn’t learn it in childhood.

We will include one or two experiential exercises around this, and we’ll also have a Q&A at the end.

Did you hold a book launch for your book?

– If you did, here’s your chance to double up on getting your message out there.

– If you didn’t, here’s your chance to present your book to an already captive audience – the onlinevents audience.

Karin Brauner is proud to present this new ongoing workshop series with Onlinevents where we will be

– having a conversation about your book

– having one or two practical applications exercises via breakout rooms or whole group conversations

– showcase your book via a book trailer that you can use for your future promotions (this will be Karin’s gift to you for participating if you need/want it)

– adding even more value to your readers and those who attend the live workshops or watch on-demand

How it works:

1. get in touch with Karin and set up a meeting time

2. on our first meeting, we will discuss your book and tweak the content of the workshop to fit with your book (Karin will already have the basic format for the workshop)

3. decide on a 1hr or 2hr workshop timeframe, as well as the date and time (this will usually be on a Friday)

4. Karin will fill out the agreed workshop content and send it through to Onlinevents for publishing

5. We will have a further meeting or two to finalise the content of the workshop

6. Show up about 15-20min before the start time, to get everything set up and running

7. We will have tech support and Karin will be running the presentation for you so you can focus on your book and the audience

8. Enjoy the event and have fun!

A word from Karin:
“After our successful – and fun! – workshop with Emma Redfern in 2023, I decided to go even further than that and work on a series of ongoing workshops with authors that I know – and others that will come through this ongoing series.”

As a thank you for attending, we will be sending out

– a handout (A to Z of writing and publishing) that we created with Emma Redfern during our workshop in 2023, which you can find here: https://www.courses-onlinevents.co.uk/courses/two-psychotherapist-writers-in-conversation-with-karin-brauner-and-emma-redfern?ref=80bfff

Presenter

Karin Brauner

Karin Brauner is a twice published author, a bilingual coach/counsellor/psychotherapist, as well as a supervisor in private practice. She trained in Guatemala and in Brighton, England. Karin has always been interested in many areas, which focus on her training as a therapist, but also her passion for writing and IT. These have led her to have a variety of services and product offerings, which she keeps adding to. These include social media marketing and content creation, as well as website support, tutoring, academic support, and other areas.

Karin is passionate about everything she does, and she enjoys seeing her colleagues and clients thrive in their work and lives. This is why she’s offering these workshops (and other courses to come in the near future). She enjoys supporting people be the best they can be, meeting them right where they are, and together figuring out what the best way forward is.

Marketing on social media became a focus of Karin’s back in 2017, when she started blogging. This propelled her practice into moving from 2-4 clients, to a full client list, followed by supervisees and now coaching clients as well. This means she can now offer the learning she’s done in the past few years, to practitioners starting their practices or thinking of growing their practices but needing the practical support to do so.

That’s what Karin offers – practical support to get you on the right track to building a successful business (whatever that means to each one of us individually).

Sally Baker

Sally Baker is an award-winning, senior, licensed and accredited full-time therapist based in London, England, with twenty-five-plus years of experience seeing clients for a wide range of complex and challenging issues.

She specialises in working with people who feel broken or stuck often because of trauma and PTSD, frequently originating in childhood or from later events. Unresolved trauma can manifest through self-sabotaging behaviours such as drug and alcohol misuse or feelings of anxiety, insomnia and depression.

As a therapist, Sally helps her clients with cutting-edge therapeutic approaches customised to their needs. Most of the time, Sally works content-free,’ meaning during the sessions, the client does not need to forensically repeat the details of the trauma they have suffered, which avoids re-traumatising or feeling triggered.

As the focus of her therapeutic work is the subconscious mind, Sally works with her clients to resolve and release long-held negative limiting beliefs in as few as six sessions.

Depending on the client’s unique requirements, customised resources are sent between the weekly sessions.

Sally sees prospective clients for an obligation-free face-to-face or via Zoom meeting to establish that she is a good fit for what the client wants to achieve with their therapy work.
