One of the major challenges for many during this time of global pandemic and social distancing is concerned with where and how we make contact with others.
In Transactional Analysis, with the concept of "strokes", we recognise the importance of receiving recognition. Indeed, Berne proposed that as adults without recognition both our psychological and physical health will suffer.
This talk will explore how our normal ways of getting our strokes have been impacted by the current situation. It will invite you to explore what other ways you might employ get these needs met and furthermore, how our past experiences may limit our perception of the options available.
