Based on the work of Hal and Sidra Stone, Voice Dialogue brings the Psychologies of Selves model to life. This unique way of working looks similar to the empty chair work of Gestalt, however, there is a difference.
In Voice Dialogue the parts have an opportunity to fully experience and express themselves as the facilitator engages them in an open and interested dialogue. By fully expressing themselves it gives the person an opportunity to hear their voices, their concerns, their purpose and their gift…yes, even the more shadowy parts of us have a gift.
Voice Dialogue is based on the principles of :
- non-judgement – each part’s voice is worthwhile and has a message for us
- wholeness – we walk forward into life with ALL of our parts
- no blame – our parts are usually trying to protect us (and other people’s parts, them)
Kate will live demo voice dialogue with a volunteer so you can really see this theory in action!
This workshop will be recorded and you can use the ticket function to pre-purchase the recording before the event. This will be useful for colleagues who are not able to attend the event live and also for those who attend the event live and want to watch it again.
