About this event

Words of Wellbeing: Bibliotherapy for Change and Growth Workshop with Nicole Moody

What does literature have to say about change and transformation? Through exploring specific extracts we will view different perspectives on how to deal with moments of great change, transformation and transition, such as leaving home, changing jobs, divorce, menopause etc. We will explore a gentle therapeutic approach that draws on selected reading to help us adopt a positive perspective on our old and new selves.

  • An understanding of the key principles of Bibliotherapy and how to apply them, including books ‘on prescription’ and making use of a practical, interactive approach with clients.
