In this workshop, we will consider the impact of the current climate in relation to ‘rubber-banding’ or triggering us into traumas from our past, therefore developmentally.
I will present a client to demonstrate different developmental ruptures or traumas. With this client example, we will explore what is needed in the relationship to offer support & repair.

Janine is a Core tutor at the Link Centre and is a Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Trainer working with Transactional Analysis as the main therapy model. She is qualified at Masters Degree level and holds both UKCP Registration, MBACP Accreditation, is an EMDR practitioner and a HIPC representative for UKATA. Janine has been practicing as a therapist in Nottingham for thirteen years working privately in the NHS and with local EAP companies. Her specialism in psychotherapy practice is working with issues around trauma (PTSD) specifically personality disorder and survivors of suicide. A great passion of Janine’s is working in psychotherapy and supervision groups, she see’s great value in co-created unity of change. This passion of groups extends to her work as a trainer in Psychotherapy. Janine feels it is a privilege to work alongside people as they grow and develop.
