About this event

How to Use Simple Breathwork Techniques in a Therapeutic Setting Workshop with Sarah Hunt

Breathing practices are one of the most powerful ways we can shift our inner state, self-regulate and find the next level of inner calm for ourselves. However, it’s not always clear which practices would be best to use under different conditions, with different clients, and how we might effectively integrate moments of breathwork into a therapeutic session in a way that works for each unique session.

This workshop will cover four simple breathing practices you can put in your toolbox to support and enhance your work with clients (and to let go of stress yourself when the sessions are finished). It will explain the body-science behind how each of these breathing practices work, when to use them. We will have a lot of time during this workshop for discussion around different ways to integrate breathing techniques into a therapy session that isn’t clunky, awkward or forced.
