About this event

Transform Yourself: A Year-Long Therapy Group with Malcolm Stern

A One-Year Transformational Therapy Group – Starting March 2025

Led by Malcolm Stern, an experienced psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience, this group provides an unparalleled opportunity for deep personal growth.

We are at a pivotal moment where personal transformation is key to a better future. This year-long therapy group invites you to dive deep into the heart of who you are—to create lasting changes in your relationships, emotional well-being, and sense of purpose, rather than seeking quick fixes. Change is a complex journey, and over the course of the year, you will gain tools such as guided exercises, self-reflective journaling, and mindfulness practices to see yourself anew, bringing fresh possibilities into your life. Together, we will explore psychotherapy (to understand and work through emotional challenges), bodywork (to release physical tension and connect with the body), deep sharing (to build trust and vulnerability within the group), rituals (to create meaningful experiences and transitions), and healing practices (to foster emotional and spiritual growth).

This group is about more than just individual growth; it is about understanding our interconnectedness and learning how our personal evolution can influence the world around us. For example, as we develop greater empathy and self-awareness, we are better equipped to support others, inspire positive change in our communities, and contribute to a more compassionate society. The practices and tools provided in this journey, such as guided meditations and bodywork techniques, will help you break down limiting beliefs, heal old wounds, and foster a profound sense of connection with yourself and others. You will be supported in exploring parts of yourself that you may have kept hidden and will be encouraged to step into your fullest expression with the help of a compassionate and supportive community.

Throughout this year, we will create a supportive environment for deep work through clear group guidelines, shared agreements, and activities like group check-ins and peer support, allowing you to embrace vulnerability and develop resilience. As you move through each month’s session, you will discover new ways to navigate life’s complexities and learn to approach challenges with compassion, both for yourself and for others, such as dealing with conflicts in relationships or managing feelings of grief. This journey is designed to nurture your capacity for self-reflection, self-acceptance, and growth by providing practical exercises, guided meditations, and group discussions that encourage deep personal exploration. By the end of the year, you will have cultivated a new sense of empowerment, greater emotional intelligence, and an enriched ability to connect meaningfully with those around you.
