Temenos & Going Global – 2013 Conference and Large Person Centred Groups

There has been so much going on the last few weeks, but certainly one of the most exciting is the Temenos 20th Anniversary celebrations! Yes, that’s right, Temenos will be 20 years old in 2013!

To celebrate this achievement Temenos is partnering with Going Global 2013 to put on a one day conference and two large person centred group experiences that will last three days each.

onlinevents will be streaming the one day conference live to our website. If you are not able to make your way to the venue you will be able to view the conference live as it happens from the comfort of your own home. We are planning a panel event in the afternoon where the audience in the venue and the audience online will be able to put questions to the speakers. This will be a unique and exciting opportunity to interact with some of the most experienced and exciting practitioners in the Person Centred Approach.

Only the conference will be available to experience online, the large person centred groups will not be online.

What follows is Temenos description of what is being planned.

Going Global had its first large group in 2012 in Vermont USA and was facilitated by Peggy Natiello, Colin Lago and Carol Wolter-Gustafson. So we are very excited to announce that Peggy and Carol will be coming to the UK in October 2013 to work with Colin and the Temenos team!

The format will be a one day conference on Friday 4th October 2013 followed by a three day large person centred group on Saturday 5th to Monday 7th. We will then take a break for a few days and then have another large person centred group from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th October in Glasgow.

Our intention is to try and make the event as accessible as possible. If you are unable to travel to the events the one day conference will be available to view live as it happens on the internet. This facility will be free of charge and we hope it will attract a worldwide audience. Even if you cant make it to the website on the day you will be able to purchase a DVD of the conference.

If you can make it to the celebration in person you can choose to come to some of all of the events. We have chosen a break in the middle of the week to acknowledge that some participants may need time for family or work responsibilities. We are having two groups in two cities to reduce travel for some participants. We are limiting each of the groups to three days, as this might be all the time that some participants can take out of their schedule.

We are still looking for the right venue in Glasgow, so if you have any ideas please let us know. We are also looking for sponsors to help us fund Peggy and Carol's airfare from the states. It is our intention to keep the ticket fee as low as possible so the more sponsors we have the more financially accessible this event will be.

We are so excited at Temenos about this event, to have Peggy come back to the UK and be part of a conference that we will stream live to the internet for an international audience. To have her joined by Carol and Colin, whose work is known and loved internationally. And to have the opportunity to be in two large person centred groups with such grounded, experienced and loving people.

We really hope you can join us!
