certified coach ACC ICF, certified supervisor in coaching CCE ICF, president of the Russian representative office of ICF.
Professionalism in coaching is a result of the continuous reflexive practice. Gaining of the required number of hours in coaching practice leads to mastery only if it is backed up by conscious study of the experience.
Coach conducts continuous learning (specialized programs, master-classes, mentoring, supervision) for building up the mastery in profession. Reflexive practice becomes an alternative to formal learning in this process (knowledge transfer), where one’s experience becomes inexhaustible source of personal professional development and improvement.
The manifestation of coaching competencies is based on skills of “unconscious reflector”. The ability to “think in the moment” helps quickly to transform the gained experience, integrate it into existing systems and check the viability of the created models in practice.
