About this event
In this workshop we ask: what is the role of psychotherapy in times of extreme upheaval? And who or what needs to change in times of change?
Analytical psychologist James HIllman says:
“By not recognising that the soul is also in the world, therapy can’t do its job anymore. The buildings are sick, the institutions are sick, the banking system’s sick, the schools, the streets – the sickness is out there”
How do we attend this sickness out there?
What tools have we got that help us to lift our gaze from the individual client and attend to the wounds in the collective culture? And which aspects of our profession may collude with this cultural malaise?
