With so much advice out there, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, get stuck, or feel like you need to do what everyone else is doing!
No one teaches us how to market our private practice, do they?
After almost 20 years of running a successful private practice without paying a penny in marketing, I am here to show you the best ways to market your private practice.
In this practical, two-hour interactive workshop, we will explore what I think are the best ways to market your private practice.

By the end of this workshop, you will have a clear idea of how to promote your private practice, how clients find us, and how to ensure our marketing is visible. I will be available to answer any questions you may have.

This event will be recorded and you can use the ticket function to pre-purchase the recording before the event. This will be useful for colleagues who are not able to attend the event live and also for those who attend the event live and want to watch it again.

This event will be hosted on the Zoom meeting platform where we will use our cameras and microphones to interact with each other as a group.

Nicola Currie
Nicola Currie is a Senior Accredited Member of the NCPS and a Mentor for counsellors setting up in private practice. She helps hundreds of counsellors each year with practical support on everything involved in setting up a private practice.
She delivers workshops for universities in Scotland that provide counselling training and has facilitated workshops for organisations such as Onlinevents, Counselling Tutor, and NCPS. Two of her courses, The Foundations for Setting up your Private Practice and Creating Policies – Where do we Even Begin, have been endorsed by the NCPS as Quality Checked CPD online courses.
Nicola has been running her private practice, Counselling with Nicola, since 2008. She’s never spent a penny on marketing! Her private practice has flourished through two recessions and a pandemic. Alongside her one-to-one work, she has set up multiple counselling services in her area, providing vital support to the local community.
