Join a friendly therapeutic writing group, led by Miriam Christie. This will be a practical session, exploring the use of images and photographs for reflective and therapeutic practice.

Attendees are asked to have with them a photograph, which they would like to draw writing inspiration from. Pen/pencil and paper is also required for this session.

Therapeutic writing can help you to explore and reconcile with past and current issues, deepen your self-awareness, improve confidence and strengthen your inner voice. In fact, studies have even found that expressive writing is related to improved mood and even physical health.

Miriam facilitates a therapeutic writing hour, which will give you the opportunity to cultivate your inner voice creatively through varied prompts and techniques.

Presenter

Miriam Christie

Miriam is an integrative psychotherapist, copywriter and yoga teacher. In her previous career, Miriam worked as a journalist, copywriter and communications consultant and has over a decades’ worth of wordsmithing experience.

Miriam applies her experience in self-expression through writing to deepen her own self-awareness and often includes therapeutic writing in her work with clients.
