Symbols with encoded meaning which are found in drawings, Oracles, Tarot cards and Runes, as well as other frameworks, help us make sense of complex experiences and feelings. The Elder Futhark Runes are a series of twenty-four symbols that encapsulate a broad swathe of human experiences, and in many ways lend themselves to symbol-focussed therapeutic support.

When coupled with a nature-based practice such as ecotherapy, the meanings held within the Runes come to life in significant ways. How does this occur? Why does it? And what training do we need to undertake to be confident in providing Runic symbol support for a client,as part of a holistic approach to therapy?

In this short talk I will open the door to explore the possibilities that working therapeutically with clients may offer. An invitation to begin a year-long, Runic Journey Community will also be given.
